"Alex" and his band
This beautiful wild horse stallion and his band once free-roamed, coming down from
the Virginia Range Mountains during the harsh winter months into the rapidly
developing community of Hidden Valley just east of Reno/Sparks NV area.   This area
was range for many wild horses prior to the intrusion of man.  Alex was a wise,
very gentle stallion who protected and loved family and they loved him.  Sadly, Alex was
run down by a speeding motorist and critically injured.  He had to be euthanized.
